On the 1-hour experience tour through the brewery, you will immerse yourself in the wondrous world of beer brewing and gain close-up insights into the brewery's daily routine. Learn interesting facts and humorous anecdotes about beer from the more than 150-year history of the family brewery with our guides. After the fantastic tour blending tradition and modernity at GANTER Brewery, you can relax in the incomparable atmosphere of our kettle bar and taste various beers!

Event location: The thriving traditional brewery from Freiburg has been in existence for over 150 years and has made a name for itself beyond the city limits through a diverse beer range. Additionally, the brewery regularly hosts well-attended events and parties.
In 1865, Ludwig Ganter founded the brewery at Zum Kindlein Jesu. This building previously housed the Dutch scholar Erasmus of Rotterdam for several years. Ganter initially brewed with a small brewing system from the 18th century. Due to excellent sales, the brewery expanded. Students and pupils receive a 10% discount upon presentation of their ID. Children under 6 years old are free of charge.
