In times when we have to discuss women's rights and freedom of speech again, the wind from the right blows sharper worldwide and a very conservative image of women is being propagated again in Western cultures, female comedians are going on the offensive! "Sisters of Comedy - Nachgelacht" is a charity event that has been taking place once a year since 2018 simultaneously on many different stages in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, featuring different female artists from the German-speaking comedy, cabaret, and slam scenes. Each show donates a part of the entrance fees to local women's aid projects and at the same time makes a statement against sexism and for equality. This year, it is the "Omas Gegen Rechts" who also have a local group in Tempelhof-Schöneberg. The "Omas gegen Rechts" have been making an important contribution to political education for years and are often subjected to hostility because of their work. A good reason to honor these wonderful women and support their work with a donation during this evening. The artists: The author, poetry slam artist, comedian, and soprano Fee Brembeck is active in several artistic fields. This summer, she performed as a soprano at the German Opera on the Rhine, was awarded the Förderpreis of the German Cabaret Award in 2025, and is currently touring with her program "How to Frau" across cabaret and comedy stages. She is a welcome guest on all relevant TV formats, most recently on the "WDR-Mitternachtsspitzen" and at "Olafs Club." Her book "Jetzt halt doch mal die Klappe, Mann!" was published in 2021 by Goldmann Verlag. We are pleased that Fee Brembeck supports the Berlin edition of Sisters of Comedy.

She writes as a columnist for "das Magazin" and is a member of the reading stages "Fuchs und Söhne," "D. E. O. – Des Eselsohr," and "Pod Show." Her texts and books have received multiple awards, including the Kassel Prize for Comic Literature and the German Youth Literature Prize for her novel "Mädchenmeute." She is a master of serious nonsense. Marc-Uwe Kling says about her: "Her texts are extremely funny. And clever. And full of little nasty truths about us and the world."

But let's be honest: she's not that special either. She comes from an island full of women – of course, she's naively optimistic. Then she lands in the real world and has to deal with men, babies, and shopping malls. Sara Karas knows exactly how that feels – she comes from a village after all. And actually, we are all a bit Wonder Woman: We run in uncomfortable shoes to catch the train, hold the world together, and still have a helper complex. Welcome to real life!

"Clever comedy doesn't have to be loud," recently wrote Schwarzwälder Bote about her, and Bonner Generalanzeiger states: "She bites with a smile." Mia Pittroff is a member of the Berlin reading stage "LSD – Liebe statt Drogen" and tours with her program "ich geh schonmal nach hinten los" across cabaret stages in Germany and Switzerland.
