Description
What began 50 years ago as a traditional event organized by the folk costume group is now successfully carried on by the “Verein Sichlete Dietikon”—and is celebrating its tenth edition this year! From Friday through Sunday, the Zentralschulhausplatz will once again be transformed into a gathering place for young and old. The festivities kick off on Friday at 6:00 p. m. with the traditional Metzgete and the Schwyzerörgeli trio “Vollgas,” followed by the Party-Gade with “DJ Ale” starting at 8:00 p. m. The weekend promises a full lineup: On Saturday and Sunday, the cozy “Sichlete-Beiz” will entice visitors with classics like Bernerplatte, raclette, apple fritters, and Black Forest cake. On Saturday from 12:00 p. m. to 4:00 p. m., the popular vintage tractor meet-up will also take place. Musical entertainment on Saturday afternoon will be provided by the “Schwyzerörgeli Schlieren,” the “Stadtjodler Dietikon,” and the alphorn group “Rebberg,” before the Party-Gade reopens in the evening and the “Trychlergruppe Dietikon” (9:00 p. m.) takes the stage. On Sunday afternoon, the Graubünden folk band “Piz Danis” will perform. For families, there will be a fantastic kids’ paradise with a bounce house in the gym on Saturday and Sunday afternoons starting at 12:00 p. m.
