Buster Keaton's classic silent film Sherlock Jr. from 1924 will be shown, accompanied live by Michael Mikolaschek on the church organ, enhanced with electronic and theatrical sound effects. The performance blends vintage cinema with contemporary live music, creating an immersive experience that merges film, music, and improvisation. Mikolaschek's innovative approach involves spontaneous soundscapes that respond directly to the film's action, with additional synthesizer effects at key moments to amplify Keaton's surprising stunts and humor.
