Sharon Mansur is a pianist, keyboardist, and composer. Her music combines the expressive power of jazz, the energy of rock and electronics, and the rich colors of Middle Eastern music. Growing up with classical piano, she early on explored beyond the boundaries of individual genres – from metal and funk to electronic club music. From these influences, Sharon Mansur developed a distinctive sound language: sometimes cinematic and meditative, sometimes danceable and wild – always characterized by melodic depth, rhythmic complexity, and a fine sense of sonic freedom beyond Western scales. Together with bassist David Michaeli (Shalosh) and drummer Aviv Cohen (including Yemen Blues), she founded the Sharon Mansur Trio. The debut album was released in June 2024 by ACT. Sharon Mansur moves effortlessly between improvisation and electronic production, between acoustic depth and pulsating grooves. With her open, genre-crossing approach, she is one of the most distinctive voices of a new generation of musicians.
