Between the world-famous clarinetist Giora Feidman and the Iranian composer Majid Montazer there are 40 years of age difference, two cultures, and two world religions. What connects them is greater than all that: the love of music and humanity. Their musical collaboration is a passionate plea for peace, humanity, and hope. Montazer's compositions combine classical structures with Persian tonal colors; they are catchy, often chamber music, instrumental miniatures that are like a sound cosmos made for Feidman's clarinet sound. Giora Feidman is one of the musicians who need only a few delicate tones to conjure magic in the room. The clarinetist, born in Argentina in 1936, is an outstandingly charismatic personality in world music, which he has decisively shaped with ever new bridges between styles and cultures.
