Description

A tenant experiences drastic weather and vegetation changes in her apartment. Her caregiver, to whom she tells everything, initially doesn't believe her, but gradually gets drawn into her world. Thunder and lightning are happening in the apartment. Is the flood coming? And what does the hedgehog in the sink have to do with it? Does the outside world even exist beyond the apartment? What is real? Jens Nielsen combines literary virtuosity and imagination with current findings in climate research. Together with a pinch of absurd humor, rapid dialogues, and some water, «Rare Ducks» becomes a spectacular climate tragedy.
