Swiss Amateur Theater Biennale

Description

From October 23 to 25, 2026, Unterengadin will once again become the meeting point for Swiss folk theater. Around the historic Hotel Scuol Palace and the Fundaziun Nairs, the golden larch forests will shine at the end of October, providing the perfect backdrop for a weekend full of theater, encounters, and enjoyment – all in the four national languages of Switzerland.
This linguistic diversity is what makes the event special, even if you do not understand the respective language. A fascinating experience that bridges the language regions and shows how unifying theater can be.
The organizing theater groups from Ftan, Sent, and Scuol, as well as the four theater associations FFSTA, FSSI, ZSV, and BVV/UTP/AGT, look forward to welcoming theater lovers from all language regions of Switzerland in Unterengadin.

Followed by closing speech and handing over the Biennale to the ZSV at the Palace. On Saturday and Sunday, there will be a small restaurant in the Palace between performances.
