Lena Violetta Leitner: Para(rt)sitic Protection Society (PPS)

Description

Based on her 2024 residency, Lena Violetta Leitner further develops the institution Para(rt)sitic Protection Society (PPS) for her solo exhibition in Nairs. The project does not view parasitic strategies as exploitative but as creative, subversive forms of relationships with artistic and social potential. PPS opens an office on the ground floor of Fundaziun Nairs, where a new "course" for "training" is offered. Inspired by behaviors through which parasites gain access, efficiently use resources, and subtly influence hosts, visitors are invited to try out movements, postures, and states that evade immediate utility—but may bring about long-term change.
