Description

Princess Odette is connected to a swan by a curse, which the evil sorcerer Von Rothbart has transformed her into. The spell can only be broken by a vow of eternal love. When she meets Prince Siegfried, he is immediately enchanted by her delicate beauty and promises to free her. But Odette's freedom is not secure, as Von Rothbart plots intrigues to thwart the lovers' plans. Liam Scarlett's production for the Royal Ballet combines Tchaikovsky's sublime music and John Macfarlane's picturesque stage sets into an unforgettable ballet spectacle full of love, betrayal, and forgiveness.
