Schandmaul is back on the big stage After five years of silence, it's finally time to set sail again! Schandmaul returns with their new album Sternensegler to the big stage, bringing their unmistakable mix of folk, rock, and storytelling magic to the Z7. On March 5, 2027, the band invites their loyal followers to embark on new musical waters. As a special opening, the Franconian folk-rockers Gossenpoeten will kick off the evening with the first chapter. Originally conceived as a musical signal of departure after a long dry spell, Sternensegler (release mid-2026) marks the beginning of a new era for the Munich folk-rockers. The seven musicians present themselves more united than ever and bravely take the next step in their development. With their new album, which combines catchy melodies, poetic lyrics, and impressive soundscapes, Schandmaul expand their familiar sound with new facets – without losing sight of their roots. Led by bandleader Thomas Lindner, who confidently alternates between guitar and keyboard, the formation has recently been strengthened by frontman Till Herence. With his distinctive voice and fresh energy, he adds extra dynamics to the stage, while the band, as a close-knit crew, sets course for a new chapter. Together, they invite their audience to cast off everyday life and sail with them through stories, myths, and adventures – in the style of that Schandmaul magic that has moved hearts and legs for years.
