Vocal Art Network (Vokalinio meno tinklas) is a Lithuanian collective that explores the relationship between the human voice and the world around us. Rooted in contemporary music, it brings together singers, composers, and artists from various disciplines to realize concerts, performances, and sound installations. Its work combines vocal experimentation with personal stories and shared experiences, exploring new ways of listening and communication through sound. The program for Contrapunkt consists of works by Christian Wolff, Robert Moran, and Rupert Huber (the long-time partner of the ensemble) - music that can open doors to an immaterial world, analogous to a modem.
