50 years ago, the original explosion of dialect rock took place, and 50 years ago, Rumpelstilz was founded. The legendary Bernese band around the dialect prototype Polo Hofer with Hanery Amman, Schifer Schafer, and Küre Güdel has shaped Swiss rock and pop history like no other. "Rote Wy," "Rosmarie," "Uf Däm Länge Wäg," "Kiosk," and many others are songs for eternity. They are melodies that have been ingrained in the collective memory of generations. Lyrics that are among the best Switzerland has to offer in pop and rock. Rumpelstilz cannot and should not be copied. The band Rumpelstoff with Levi Bo (vocals, guitar, and keyboard), Marc Gerber (guitar, vocals), and Stefan Künzli (saxophone, vocals) celebrates the 50th birthday of the gems from Rumpelstilz. They retain the core, celebrate their soul and poetry, but interpret them in a very own way. Levi Bo and Stefan Künzli played together for years in the Bluesaholics and later formed a duo for blues and ballads. With Marc Gerber, who participated in Polo Hofer's last band, they found an ideal musical complement.
