The Ringmasters are among the outstanding barbershop quartets worldwide and were awarded the world championship title in 2012 as the only non-US ensemble at that time. The four singers captivate their audience around the globe with impressive precision, infectious energy, and fine humor. In 2026, the musicians will celebrate their 20th stage anniversary and present their entire stylistic diversity from jazz, pop, and musical to folk and Swedish choral music. Barbershop singing originated at the end of the 19th century in American barbershops to pass the waiting time. Meanwhile, the genre fascinates with close-harmony singing, the highly complex tuning of vocal parts, which creates a clear, overtone-rich sound, and a pronounced sense of dramaturgy and audience.
