Re:vision on 8 Femmes

Description

Pay close attention, look again, look differently—sometimes it opens unexpected perspectives. In cooperation with the Volkshochschule and the publicist Thomas Binotto, the Filmpodium is already hosting the ninth season of the lecture series «Re:vision». Re:vision 9/018 Femmes François Ozon has made a film full of homages with 8 Femmes. He pays tribute to film history, both American and French. Before the classic musical and the whodunit crime story. And Ozon especially pays deep homage to the great women of French cinema. Thomas Binotto sheds light on this wildly tangled web of relationships. Once again, it's time for a film cleanup. Tickets for the film and lecture are available separately online; discounted combo tickets are only available at the box office. Next Re:vision: Wednesday, December 9, 2026, and Wednesday, February 3, 2027. A cooperation between Filmpodium and Volkshochschule Zürich.
