Description

The Repair Café is an organized meeting where visitors bring defective items from home and can repair them with the help of volunteer helpers. Products often end up in the trash that only have minor defects and could be repaired again with relatively little effort. In many cases, a repair is not considered due to high costs or is deemed impossible by manufacturers. The Repair Café event creates a counterbalance to the wear-and-tear and throwaway practices of manufacturers. Repairs are free of charge. Tools can be used free of charge. Our offer is financed exclusively through voluntary donations. Your voluntary contribution, after a successful repair, helps us to continue these events in the future. You can pass any waiting times with coffee and cake in the art house bistro.
