Description
"Every year, more than 2 billion songbirds cross the Mediterranean and the Sahara on their way between their European breeding and African wintering grounds. Migratory birds that leave early in the season fly to Africa and mostly travel at night and alone. Bird species that depart south late in the season often migrate during the day and in flocks to southern France, Spain, Algeria, and Morocco.
Our experts on site present exciting insights from bird migration research and answer your questions.
Please note that this event can only be attended in combination with a museum admission."
