Quantum Cabaret – Premiere

Description

What if the best escape from reality was to take a closer look at it? The host of this extraordinary evening is the legendary drag queen Klamydia von Karma aka Dr. Anis Meschichi. She will accompany you on a sensual-scientific journey that no textbook could ever prepare you for. Scientists from ETH take the floor to give the invisible a voice: the electrical impulse of a plant, the geometry of a dying star, the chaos brewing in a single drop of water. And as each new world unfolds, a changing cast of burlesque artists, drag artists, and musicians from all over Europe transforms scientific wonders into a spectacle of pure sensuality and emotion. A show at the intersection of knowledge and performance. Where a biologist's discovery becomes a burlesque number. Where an equation becomes a melody. Where you can no longer take your eyes off the invisible. Wonder. Anger. Euphoria. Beauty. A stage jewel of a very special kind! QUANTUM CABARET. The universe, unfiltered. A co-production of Millers Theater with Dr. Anis Meschichi aka Klamydia von Karma (among others known from “The Mermaid” at the Schauspielhaus and much more), supported by ETH D-BIOL and D-USYS.
