Prometheus confused - World Premiere

Description

Prometheus is confused. Like many young people, he asks himself: Who or what defines me? What does my existence mean in coexistence with my environment? What drives me to maintain or break existing orders? He encounters Gaia, who reminds him that the resources of this world are finite. Driven by his own values, he always tries to do "the right thing" and conflicts with the ruler Kronos. Together with Zeus, Prometheus completely disrupts the order of the Titan galaxy. They both fight for their own idea of a good world. But what is a good world? What is right? Greek mythology tells us a lot about relationships. The play is based on Franz Fühmann's "Prometheus - The Titan Battle." Inspired by drag, among other things, with video projections, a connection to the present is established. --- Anna C. Ortmann is an actor, theater educator, lecturer, and workshop leader. Helena Kauschke is a cultural and media educator, theater science student, and performer. Both also perform as drag kings. When they met at a show, the idea was born to create a drag-inspired theater piece together as FLUIDUM.
