In our latest production, in the spirit of the so-called "Berlin Operetta," it’s really silly, frivolous, and wonderfully colorful. Paul Lincke's magnificent music, the extravagant costumes, and not least two fantastic performers, who are usually at home on grand operetta stages, ensure plenty of fun. Indeed, all main and supporting roles—from Princess Rosine to the guests and residents of a mysterious land of plenty, to members of the royal court, as well as the entire orchestra and ballet corps—are played and sung by just two people: Stefanie Dietrich, known as Mizzi Meier and from our house production about Kurt Tucholsky, and Meik van Severen, who has also made a name for himself as a drag queen, and whom you will experience on our stage for the first time! Princess Rosine, premiered in Berlin in 1905, is a true musical jewel that we are bringing out of obscurity and polishing to a high shine. Thus, Paul Lincke's music returns to where it belongs: to the heart of the capital. Look forward to our musical entertainment in pocket size! Additional information:
