Description

Under the command of US General Dwight D. Eisenhower (Brendan Fraser), the largest sea invasion in history is imminent. But whether the Allied landing in Normandy succeeds depends on a single, unpredictable factor: the weather. In the crucial 72 hours before D-Day, the British chief meteorologist Captain James Stagg (Andrew Scott) must give the most consequential weather forecast of his life. As the pressure relentlessly mounts, he becomes embroiled in a fierce conflict with the Allied military leadership. Only a few hours remain to find the narrow time window that could determine the success or failure of the invasion—and thus the fate of millions of people.
