Post Mortem | True Cases of Forensic Medicine with Prof. Dr. Klaus Püschel

Description

With new, gripping cases, the renowned forensic doctor Prof. Dr. Klaus Püschel will go on a major Germany tour in 2027 and provide exclusive insights into the fascinating world of forensic medicine. Acts of violence, an airplane as a murder weapon, the Chinese murders, and the Masked Man – just a glimpse of the impressive range of Germany's largest forensic institute, which will captivate the audience. For decades, the former head of Hamburg's forensic medicine has been one of the most prominent experts in his field. In spectacular investigations, he has made history: he performed an autopsy on politician Uwe Barschel, examined the severe abuse of a three-year-old girl in the Yagmur case, and was involved in the re-investigation of the so-called "Bathtub Case" involving Manfred Genditzki, who was acquitted after over 13 years of wrongful imprisonment. Püschel reports on extraordinary cases – authentic, compelling, and close-up. The audience experiences live how crime scenes are reconstructed and causes of death determined. This True Crime special promises insights into real criminal cases at the highest level; as unsettling as it is fascinating. The moderation is by Dr. Tino Grosche. Look forward to an exciting evening between science and true crime – full of dramatic twists and moving fates.
