Description
How to (re)film politics? An evening about staging, images of history, and the question of what the camera shows – and conceals – about politics. Conversation in French. Director Jean-Stéphane Bron has brought political processes to the screen: the Swiss parliamentary system, the fight against Wall Street. Damir Skenderovic, as a historian, examines how political movements and events are remembered, interpreted, and transmitted. We invite a multi-voiced dialogue about film as a political tool and cinema as a place of societal debate – accompanied by a film program with classics and discoveries.
