Description
A place that has long fallen silent – until now. For this show, the former Stadtbad Lichtenberg opens its doors for a unique experience: Spoken Word amidst history, dust, and echoes. Where water once roared, words now flow – raw, intense, and beautifully ephemeral. Between Lost Place and poetry. In four workshops, we have collected and creatively processed the memories, stories, and feelings of the Lichtenberg residents about this historic site – now performed on stage by four professional slam poets. During an immersive tour of the usually locked rooms of the Stadtbad, we turn the bath into a stage. Perfect for all who love urban exploration, adventurers, culture seekers, and those who enjoy experiencing literature where they least expect it. Poetry Slam Stories is a project by Stift & Mikro e. V., funded by the Lichtenberg district office of Berlin from the district culture fund. Two sessions, limited seats. Entry only with prior registration – the Stadtbad opens exclusively for this event.
