A place that has long fallen silent – until now. For this show, the former Stadtbad Lichtenberg opens its doors for a unique experience: Spoken Word amidst history, dust, and echoes. Where water once flowed, words now flow – raw, intense, and beautifully ephemeral. Between Lost Place and poetry. In four workshops, we have collected and creatively processed the memories, stories, and feelings of the Lichtenberg residents about this historic site, which are now performed on stage by four professional slam poets. During an immersive tour of the usually locked rooms of the Stadtbad, we turn the bath into a stage. Perfect for all who love urban exploration, adventurers, culture seekers, and memory enthusiasts, and for everyone who enjoys experiencing literature where you least expect it. Poetry Slam Stories is a project of Stift & Mikro e. V., funded by the district office of Lichtenberg in Berlin from the district culture fund. Two sessions, limited seats. Entry only with prior registration – the Stadtbad opens exclusively for this event.
