Poetry Slam Show - Marius Loy and Guests

Description

Love for language, fun in the game: Poetry Slam is one of the most exciting live formats of the hour! In competition for the enthusiastic audience, selected artists compete with short, self-written texts: with only seven minutes, no costumes or props, only the spoken word counts. Perhaps it is this honesty that makes the charm - or the variety of performances. Whether rhymed or narrated, touching or fiery, for heart, brain, or diaphragm: everything is possible and much is offered at this literary decathlon. Poetry Slam master and host Marius Loy invites slammers from the region and far beyond to Freiburg's Vorderhaus: some of the most exciting artists of their craft pass the microphone to each other here. Included are:
Lena Stokoff Anuraj Sri Rajarajendran Marsha Richarz Gregor Stäheli The cultural organizer Lena Stokoff from Stuttgart is seen not only at classical Poetry Slam performances but also at PowerPointKaraoke and as a host of various stage programs.
Anuraj Sri Rajarajendran has established himself not only as a talented rapper but also as a master of words in the field of Poetry Slam.
Gregor Stäheli has been on Poetry Slam stages since 2009. As a keen observer, he discovers the funny, absurd, exhausting, but also quiet sides of life and packages the best of it in his texts with punchlines.
Marsha Richarz is an author, stage poet, workshop leader, and host living in Leipzig. In March 2026, her essay on municipal political work was published in the series "Feminist Voices" by Leipzig publisher Palomaa Publishing. https://www.mariusloy.de/
