Description

The East Belgian puppet theater Fithe started in 2003 as a small support association. From the very beginning, puppeteer Heinrich Heimlich was involved. Since 2016, when the association received its current name, a new play has been performed every year. "Suddenly Penguin" is based on the picture book "Lost and Found" by Oliver Jeffers and tells the enchanting story of a friendship between a child and a penguin without words. Unexpectedly, the child finds a penguin in front of his door. At first, he thinks it has escaped from somewhere. But when no one seems to miss him, he wants to take him back to his home at the South Pole. Not so easy! After dramatic but also amusing adventures on the high seas, they reach their destination. But then, an unexpected turn occurs. This exciting mix of puppet theater, shadow play, and acting keeps both young and old entertained in a delightful way.
