By Théâtre Gudule as part of the 22nd International Puppet Festival Duration: approximately 45 minutes, suitable for all audiences from 5 years old In front of us, a piano wakes up, it goes "gnniiiik" it goes "gnaaak", it squeaks, its lid opens and closes. Is it grumpy? Or haunted? Or... inhabited? Rats have taken over the body of the instrument. They crawl everywhere, run on the keyboard, lounge on the keys, and dance on the strings when the cat is not around! But this cat is never far away. It waits for the perfect tempo. Should it only be clever enough to leap onto its prey, as dazed as it is, it has still lost its tail between two measures... Pianissimo is a wordless show. The scenes follow one another, accompanied by sound effects and live music. Théâtre Gudule continues its exploration of the rod puppet, allowing a dynamic play suited to the expression of the characters in the show, lively and insolent rodents.
