Peter Gisler ● Diegos Verschwinden

Description

Peter Gisler tells the story of Tom and the disappearance of Diego in his new book. A fateful night changes Tom's life forever: Drunk, he fights with his rival Diego. When he regains consciousness the next morning, he can no longer distinguish between memory and dream. Diego has disappeared without a trace. Did he kill him and sink him in the deep water of the lake? Driven by tormenting uncertainty, Tom turns his life upside down. He becomes independent early, catches up on education, finds success, works joyfully at first, then to the point of self-exploitation. After a burnout, he moves to Berlin to find himself; but even in a foreign land, Diego does not let him go. As a revenant, he repeatedly crosses his path. Until he returns to the lake years later. To the place where it all began – and where the demons of the past await him. The book is published by Zytglogge Verlag.
