Exciting works from the extensive history of the RSQ are presented. The basis for this first concert of our new series 'Pearls from the Archive' is the very first concert program that the quartet played in 1971! Thus, the works by Erland von Koch, Carl Anton Wirth, Warren Benson, and Fritz Christian Gerhard, which were presented as European premieres at the time, are brought back to the stage. Of course, Johann Sebastian Bach cannot be missing, and the concert will open with the spectacular arrangement of his motet 'Singet dem Herrn ein neues Lied'. After the concert, there will be an opportunity for a conversation with the musicians over a glass of wine.
