For more than 20 years, Fritz has lived near Hamburg's Reeperbahn and maintains a close musical connection with the music metropolis Nashville. Here, his stories and sound are born. Americana music represents a blend that can include all genres originating in America. Soul, country, blues, for example, as in the case of Pat Fritz. The recently released singles "Closer to you" and "With you" confirm this well. Previously, in 2024, there was a first "Best of Album" with various guests. Since 2017, Fritz has been working with his band in Hamburg, and the result rocks and rolls more clearly on his album "Car Ride" than on previous works. Nevertheless, the creation and the special magic of his music are based on pure guitar and vocals. This is often referred to as "acoustic" or "unplugged" in technical jargon. This quite demanding form of performance is undoubtedly one of the strengths of musician Pat Fritz. Acoustic, with a duet partner, Fritz performs on stage using instruments like acoustic bass and guitar, but also ukulele and various percussion elements are used.
