At Carré: It is the mourning of a brother who has become a stranger, faceless. It is a dance for joy, for screams, for tears, for all women who continue to be sovereign and walk with their heads held high, proud of their life journey. I have something to say. My dance inspires. I question our place as women in our families, in society, in our family roots. What recurring pattern do we decide to break? One day I realized: there was no scream. There was silence, which I held with both hands, like something one no longer knows where to place. So one day it became clear to me! Sisterly friendship had gently broken. We had used the word "sisters" like a free pass – without asking ourselves what this word actually meant, until sincerity was lacking. "One day I understood" ventures into a fragile area where familial love mixes with injury, where the blood bond reaches its limits, where speaking out becomes an almost physical necessity.
