Fascinated by ruined landscapes and spaces in decline, Miro Aron (Imfeld, b. 1992) creates environments imbued with nostalgia that reflect a disenchanted view of the contemporary world. Through 3D animation and installation art, the exhibition Xanthoria invites the public to enter an enigmatic world that evolves day by day. By transforming the first room of the Valais Art Museum into an underground space with a twilight-like atmosphere, the artist paints a somber portrait of a world under threat—yet one whose devastation may not be irreversible.
