Description

Two major thematic exhibitions and three monographic projects by Aurèle Oggier, Andriu Deplazes and Jeanne Jacob will enable visitors to move from a collective view to more personal artistic approaches. Paintings, drawings, installations - the works gathered in these exhibitions are rooted in nature, in the landscapes and histories of the Valais, but also in more intimate territories. Finally, the public is invited to discover Aquarium (2014), a large-scale installation by Joëlle Allet, as well as works permanently integrated into the building and on the museum's terraces. The museum also offers the chance to discover the exhibitions in a playful way thanks to Inspiro, a game of cards and chance; through a literary itinerary imagined by author Marlène Mauris and Johannes Raphael Millius; by following the Simples suggestions cartels trail; or by participating in a collective weaving work designed by artist Marie Jambers.
