by and with Wolfgang Kramer The little Oskar has cancer – and has disappointed everyone. At least, that's how it seems to him, as his bone marrow transplant was unsuccessful. He suspects that he must die. No one can laugh with him anymore, and his parents are also struggling. Fortunately, he gets along so well with Grandma Rosa, one of the volunteer helpers in the children's ward. But she is not just any lady in pink. She doesn't lie to him, but also shows him ways in which his life can still be valuable and beautiful if he experiences it consciously every day. She also advises him to write letters to God to feel 'less lonely.' Wolfgang Kramer takes on all roles in this performance, reading and playing the fourteen letters to 'dear God,' immersing the audience right into this story that deals with big taboos but also aims to give courage and hope. Wolfgang Kramer is an actor, singer, and director. He works all over Germany, including performances at the Ettlinger Festival or regularly in Karlsruhe with productions of the crime dinner, but he also writes his own plays and stories, which he brings to the stage in various forms. The performance 'Oskar and the Lady in Pink' is his own adaptation.
