Peter Tchaikovsky, Ballet Suite from Swan Lake, op. 20a. Pietro Naresse is an Italian trumpeter known for his versatility and brilliance of sound. Originally from Serradifalco (Sicily), he graduated with honors from the Royal Academy of Music in Aarhus under the guidance of Kristian Steenstrup and Martin Schuster. He furthered his training in France, specializing at the renowned Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris (CNSMDP) with Marc Geujon and Alexis Demailly. As the winner of the third prize at the international competition 'Trompettissimo' in 2024, he has had an intensive career both as a soloist and as an orchestral musician. He has collaborated with renowned European institutions, including the Teatro dell’Opera di Roma, the Orchestra Regionale della Toscana, the Teatro Carlo Felice in Genoa, the opera house 'I Midten' (Denmark), the Teatro Olimpico in Vicenza, the Ensemble Pluma, the orchestra of the Paris Conservatoire, the Oratorio Orchestra (France), the Budapest Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Carl Nielsen Orchestra under the direction of Maestro Nikolaj Szeps-Znaider. As an active chamber musician, he regularly performs at significant European festivals with the 'Trio in Stile Barocco' – an innovative project for two trumpets and organ dedicated to exploring and reinterpreting the Italian and European Baroque repertoire.
