"Supported by the Initiative Musik and the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and Media 'BKM' Mad Kitten draws from the raw energy of the 90s alternative scene (Sonic Youth, Bikini Kill) and develops a sound that oscillates between sharp punk tension, noise textures, and looser moments influenced by garage rock. The band alternates between tension and relaxation, driven by dissonant and explosive guitars, fast rhythms, and an emotionless voice that cuts through the dense chaos. Since their first performance less than a year ago, Mad Kitten has been regularly playing between Strasbourg and Germany, in independent venues, at alternative events, and in DIY spaces.
