Description
Allschwil is a place of contrasts: its outskirts are marked by upheaval, with dynamic, expanding corporate headquarters and new residential areas. In the village square, however—in the heart of this Sundgau farming village—time seems to stand still. The exhibition “Rand aufs Herz” by Olivier Joliat and Hans-Jörg Walter brings these two poles together and presents new perspectives on the largest municipality in the Basel-Landschaft region. The outskirts move into the museum and will be projected onto the village church on Culture Day. Olivier Joliat’s artistic work will continue in January with the exhibition “Dorf darf das.” Together, we’ll open the exhibition with a light lunchtime reception. The lunchtime opening offers the opportunity to view the exhibition in a relaxed setting and discuss it with others.
