Are we our body? Three people meet in the overgrown garden of a peculiar clinic. A place where every change seems possible, a place where they can finally become what they have long wanted to be. The exterior is negotiable and changeable. Because the world is a world of surfaces. But what happens to the core? And what happens when someone suddenly learns to simply love that little, crazy diamond inside? In her new piece SCHEIN, DU CRAZY DIAMANT!, a singing piece for three characters and a loudspeaker, Martina Clavadetscher dedicates herself to the question of how much our physicality and our forms are identity-forming. And whether beauty is not a delicate secret hidden somewhere underneath – and can be discovered at any time.
