One Night Of MJ - The Tribute To The King Of Pop!

Description

The extraordinary tribute show celebrating the probably greatest genius of pop music: Michael Jackson! On tour with original lead guitarist Jennifer Batten and Wendel Gama as Michael Jackson. "ONE NIGHT OF MJ" is a nearly two-hour homage to the extraordinary career of the King of Pop, Michael Jackson (MJ). Wendel Gama as Michael, a stunning rock band accompanied by brass and strings, a dance crew with original choreographies, and elaborate special effects bring MJ's greatest hits back to the stage. Featuring the unforgettable guitar solos of Jennifer Batten - the legendary guitarist who accompanied MJ on all major tours for many years. "Billie Jean", "Beat it", "Bad”, "Black or White”, "Man in the Mirror”, "Smooth Criminal”, "Thriller” – not only his countless number-one hits made MJ the undisputed “King of Pop”. His attitude, his extravagant music videos, and his exuberant live performances were in a class of their own and practically created an independent art form. The interplay of singing, music, dance, cutting-edge technology, and energetic entertainment was perhaps never staged more perfectly than by him. "ONE NIGHT OF MJ" allows the audience to once again immerse themselves in the magical atmosphere of the extraordinary MJ shows. The unique arrangements are faithfully brought to life by the live band. A small but majestic live orchestra further underscores the grandeur of the unforgettable compositions. Wendel Gama from Brazil is among the world's most famous Michael Jackson impersonators. Over four million people follow him on TikTok alone. Vocally, hardly anyone comes as close to the original live. But every movement, every gesture, and every dance step is a respectful and passionate bow to the great entertainer Michael Jackson. The legendary guitar riffs and solos can hardly be presented more authentically than with Jennifer Batten as lead guitarist. For almost ten years, she stood for and with Michael Jackson on the stages of the world during his major live tours. She first joined the "Bad World Tour" in 1987, followed by the "Dangerous World Tour" (1992/93) and the "HIStory World Tour" (1996/97). The last tour alone took her to 82 concerts in 35 countries across five continents. Looking back, Batten confirms: "The time with MJ was the best of my life, especially since I was already a fan of his music before." About the show "ONE NIGHT OF MJ", she says: "The audience loves his music – but many of his fans never had the chance to experience Michael live. That's why I love this fantastic show. Interpreting Michael's songs with strings and trumpets is simply epic. Michael would have loved it. He always aimed to deliver a wow effect to the audience." "ONE NIGHT OF MJ" is not just a musical live spectacle, but a fantastic journey through the magical MJ world – authentic, energetic, and captivating. A rapid, loud, flamboyant, and at the same time emotional, honest, and humble bow to an unforgettable icon. www.onenightofmj.de
