On St. Martin with the Custodian to the Church!

Description

On St. Martin with the Custodian to the Church! On the feast of St. Martin, November 11, embark on an exclusive tour of Slatiňany Castle accompanied by the custodian Ing. Jaroslav Bušta. The tour will lead through the representative and private rooms of the princely family and will be extended to areas that are not part of the usual visitor routes. From the northern wing of the castle, you will enter the restored above-ground connecting corridor from 1861, built according to the design of František Schmoranze the Elder. You will walk approximately forty meters along the covered path, which the Auerspergs used for more than eighty years to attend services, all the way to the private noble oratory of St. Martin's Church. Here, in a space otherwise inaccessible from the church itself, the tour will symbolically conclude – on the feast of the patron of the Slatiňany church, St. Martin. The connecting corridor and the oratory are not part of the regular visitor operations. The tour takes place only on November 11, 2026, lasts approximately 100 minutes, and the number of places is limited. Tours start at 10:00 and 13:00. We recommend purchasing tickets in advance online.
