Castle Tours with the Scent of St. Martin's Croissants On the festive Saturday, you can embark on extraordinary tours of the castle, culminating in the 19th-century castle kitchen. Here, St. Martin's croissants will be baked in the original historical oven, which you will be able to taste. The castle tours will thus connect history, tradition, and the aroma of freshly baked goods, providing a unique insight into life at the castle. YOU CAN ALSO PURCHASE TICKETS ONLINE - AS A TOUR OF THE ENTIRE CASTLE St. Martin's Parade in Slatiňany The National Stud Kladruby nad Labem, in cooperation with the Town of Slatiňany, the Roman Catholic Parish of Slatiňany, and the State Castle of Slatiňany, invites all young and old visitors to the St. Martin's Parade, which will take place on Saturday, November 14. The parade will start at 1:00 PM in front of the Slatiňany stud and will lead to St. Martin's Church, where you can explore the interior with an audio guide. The priest will present the legend of this saint. Around 1:30 PM, the parade will return to the stud, where workshops for children, a St. Martin's-themed market, St. Martin's wine, croissants, and a fencing performance will await you from 2 PM. And what horse will St. Martin ride this year? Traditionally, it is white – a symbol of the coming snow – but in the church in Slatiňany, he is depicted on a black horse. How will it be this time?
