Okvsho is one of the most exciting and promising projects in the modern European jazz scene. The duo consists of the two brothers Christoph and Georg Kiss from Zurich, who seamlessly blend their musical background in beatmaking and electronic music with the sounds of Europe's young, vibrant jazz scene, constantly discovering new musical territories. Their live band project Okvsho +Experience, born from collaborations with local musicians, celebrates improvisation, spontaneity, and jazz as dance music. Almost three years after the acclaimed Orange Wine EP and three international tours, the duo returns with their fourth project, A Place Between Us. The album is more personal and daring than ever before, offering a deep insight into the thoughts, feelings, and experiences of the past two years. The characteristic style of Okvsho has evolved once again: organic and electronic elements merge with beautiful harmonies and expressive rhythms. The second LP is also the first full-length project on the newly founded Zurich label Current Moves, with which the Kiss brothers aim to actively shape the young jazz scene that inspires them and of which they are a vital part.
