Description

A call. A desperate man. An appointment that cannot be postponed. Psychologist Ela agrees to an unusual session. Her new patient only gives the first letter of his name: G. As the conversation becomes more intense, Ela suspects she is dealing with no ordinary person. When his true identity is finally revealed, much more is at stake than the fate of a single patient: G. is God – and he has decided to put an end to his work. Ela has only one hour to change his mind and thus save the world. Katharina Stemberger and Wolf Bachofner are among Austria's most prominent actors and are well known to a broad audience from film, television, and theater. The well-rehearsed duo brings great intensity and lightness to the equally humorous and profound piece. The Israeli playwright Anat Gov (1953–2012) was one of the most important theater authors in her country. Her plays combine wit, psychological depth, and existential questions.
