With the Meyerstollen discovery under Aarau train station, the City Museum reveals to visitors the work of early industrialist Rudolf Meyer Sohn, who built a vast tunnel system beneath the city of Aarau 200 years ago. A small exhibition is dedicated to various aspects of the structure, technology, and geology. It is also possible to explore a short but impressive section of the tunnel system. Entrance: Aarau train station, 1st basement (opposite Orell Füssli) Open: 2–4 pm

The Meyerstollen discovery offers visitors the opportunity to explore the historic tunnel system of early industrialist Rudolf Meyer Sohn.
