On display «The Legacy of the Amazon – Art and Archaeology» The Amazon region is often regarded as the epitome of untouched nature. But deep in the green thicket, traces of ancient civilizations are hidden. Inspired by artistically crafted clay vessels and mysterious rock paintings, shimmering pendants made of aluminum are created in the open workshop. They tell of the balance of the world and highly developed cultures from the past. Every Sunday: 11 am – 4 pm Door opening: 10:45 am, last entry at 2 pm Start: The introductions take place at 11 am, 12:30 pm, and 2 pm. Reservation on site (limited number of places)Highlights

General Information
In the open workshop at the Rietberg Museum, visitors can create shimmering aluminum pendants inspired by the art and archaeology of the Amazon region. The event offers insights into ancient civilizations and their cultural expressions.
