October Screening of the Film "My Good City Znojmo"

Description

Specially for this year's 800th anniversary of the founding of the royal city of Znojmo, a historical musical film "My Good City Znojmo" was created, which premiered and had several screenings in September. Due to high audience interest, the screening dates at Kino Svět in Znojmo are being extended into October. Specifically: - October 1 (Thursday) at 5:30 PM - October 3 (Saturday) at 5:15 PM - October 7 (Wednesday) at 6:00 PM - October 11 (Sunday) at 6:30 PM - October 16 (Friday) at 6:30 PM - October 24 (Saturday) at 6:15 PM. Additional dates will be added as needed – please follow the program of Kino Svět: (this year September 11–13, 2026). The film was created as an independent project with the support of the city of Znojmo. A feature-length historical film was born, involving not only professional actors, fencers, and filmmakers, but also many volunteers and enthusiasts from the local community. An unmistakable and original part of the film is the period music performed by the Znojmo music company Lucrezia Borgia, which is also the main producer of the film. The film's premiere (for invited guests only) will take place at Kino Svět in Znojmo on Friday, September 4, 2026. Public screenings will then be: - on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at 6:00 PM and 7:30 PM - on Sunday, September 13, 2026, at 6:00 PM - on Monday, September 21, 2026, at 5:45 PM. We recommend reserving tickets in advance at the cinema box office.
