Dénes Várjon piano Currently, she is one of the most exciting violinists: Antje Weithaas. For her deep musicality and breathtaking virtuosity, she was awarded the Opus Klassik in 2025. The year before, she and Dénes Várjon received the annual award of the German Record Critics for their joint recording of all Beethoven sonatas. The jury described this interpretation as "a lush labyrinth of sound, into which everyone enters joyfully." This will be experienced in Offenburg in Beethoven's early A minor Sonata op. 23. With the same magical sound, Weithaas performs two sonatas by Brahms: intense, dreamy, and equally powerful. And the exceptional violinist has one more joker up her sleeve.
