Description
Sister Marie Julia's fish soup was quite something: with her new recipe, 52 members of the order of the "Little Sisters of Hoboken" ended up with their faces in the soup bowl and prematurely in heaven. Only the Mother Superior and four other nuns escaped the deadly bouillabaisse because they happened to be at bingo in town that day. Now, good advice is expensive, because the order's money is only enough for 48 burials. Could a charity event help, where each sister brings her hidden show talents to shine? Since its premiere in 1985 in New York, Dan Goggin's cheeky revue "Non(n)sens" has become one of the most performed "small" classics of the musical genre – celebrated internationally in at least 26 languages, over 8,000 productions, and with more than 25,000 singers and actresses in the roles of the five quirky sisters. The reason for this is catchy songs, comedic actresses with heart and humor – and a few sharp jabs against political correctness. As the sisters sing: "The Show must go Nonn!"
