After DIE TÜTEN AUS DER VERWALTUNG, Theater Thikwa and glanz&krawall are dedicating this autumn to another German horror subject: retirement. For this, they gather all their courage and open a terrifying letter – their annual pension statement! But instead of throwing the frightening letter into the trash, they face the crisis this time. "Nix gibt’s!" is their grand pension revue, which, inspired by Erwin Piscator's historically political mammoth shows, brings the story of horror back to the stage. Delayed reforms, the prospect of old-age poverty, loss of housing – are these the realities of life that await us all in demographic change? How does the German pension system work at all, and what would be needed to offer better prospects for everyone in our society again? 137 years of statutory pension insurance can only be addressed with revue methods. Magic, tap dance, word and singing acrobatics, and of course many beautiful paragraphs await you from October 30, 2026: Welcome to Thikwastadtpalast!
